Donations

Fly Fish for Life and Mending Minds needs your support. Due to the medical conditions of several of the participants who will one day be part of a Mending Minds Retreat,we must provide certain accommodations.  Many of these individuals will not YET be able to wade or float a river. For that reason we are working to provide facilities, and fishing options that can be safely enjoyed by Mending Minds participants.

BACK TO PROGRAMS

Mending Minds was formed in remembrance of a family member who was loved by everyone, and loved everybody. He suffered a brain injury doing what he loved, and he was never able to fully recover from the aftermath of a life changing injury. Few people are aware of the reality of what a brain injury can do to a person. The recovery process from a brain injury can be slow, and almost always means a change in life style.  These changes brought forth can lead to depression and  hopelessness, stemming from both emotional and physical pain.

Mending Minds mission is to show brain injury victims that that an active life style can exist after an injury through fly fishing, and other activities.  By being in fellowship with others who are enduring the same struggles, Fly Fish for Life strives to save lives through Mending Minds.

If you would like to see Mending Minds become a reality, please visit our DONATIONS page to find out how you can help.
