Mending Minds

Beginning in the summer of 2009, we will be introducing individuals recovering from traumatic brian and spinal injuries at Craig Hospital to the healing remedies of fly fishing. We provide multiple day, all inclusive fishing packages to participants of this program at no cost.

This program has a goal to instill our passion for fly fishing upon our nation’s youth through unforgettable fly fishing adventures free of charge, drugs, alcohol, and other negative influences.  These excursions take form in the way of overnight rafting, fishing and backpacking trips. Above all else, we want to get kids active!

Fishing for Tomorrow

Fishing for Tomorrow is the theme expressed in all the fishing we do. 

This theme which compliments all our programs teaches the importance of catch and release, leave no trace, the history of the water fished, and environmental issues surrounding those waters. In order to help sustain the values of this message, 20 percent of all guided fly fishing proceeds are donated to conservation organizations of your choice.

Fundraising Programs for Causes We Believe In.

We have seen first hand fly fishing’s ability to raise support and awareness to various causes. Fly Fish for Life strives to organize multiple day, fun, informative and memorable all inclusive fly fishing events.  Our all inclusive events incorporate dinners, entertainment, lodging, and world class guided fly fishing. Our Casting Faith event is an event that strives to bring support to organizations who send food, medicine, clothing, and volunteers to poverty stricken countries. Our Angel’s Fly program raises much needed support for organizations that are part of the fight against cancer.   

Other Great Organizations

FFL wishes to promote other great fly fishing organizations.  Such organizations include Casting for Recovery (women battling breast cancer), Project Healing Waters (disabled veterans), and Reel Recovery (Men battling Cancer). FFL would also like to offer recognition to Hooked on a Cure Which benefits Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
